“Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.”
~ E. L. Doctorow
I’ve had voices chattering away in my head since I was a little girl, but I never worried about being mentally unstable. I was too busy scribbling down the stories before I forgot them. Fast forward years later, and not much has changed. I’m still hearing voices in my head, but the voices have translated into five published novels, with a sixth soon on the way.
My reading tastes are eclectic, and so are my novels. Do you love reading series? Check out my James Bay novels: Fatty Patty, Home Fires, Lotto Lucy and For I Have Sinned are set in the Northern Michigan resort town of James Bay. These women’s fiction titles are available on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble, both digitally and in print. And for those of you who’ve read and loved the series, here’s an inside scoop: Yes, I’m currently plotting a new James Bay novel. Patty (the overweight heroine) and her hero Sam will be making an appearance, as will Rose and Fireman Mike, and even Fr. Greg. Watch for the fifth installment of the series sometime in 2015. Meanwhile, have you read Royal Secrets? Set in America’s wedding capital of Las Vegas, it’s a must-read for lovers of royalty and romance!
I’m busy finishing up the rough draft of my latest women’s fiction novel The Other Wife, scheduled for release in November 2014.
